Artist Notes

An original cartoon zombie illustration unfolds on the right inner forearm, at 15x15 cm and three hours of execution. The piece rests on an author drawing: huge eyes, a comedic expression and sharp claws, with the artist signature integrated as part of the work. Colour is applied flat and with controlled layers of shading, aiming for a vivid finish that holds up to exposure without shifting. The square composition fits the width of the forearm and uses the orientation of the arm so the figure stays visible. The intention is a playful tattoo with character, where the humour of the character and the cleanliness of the line sit alongside the energy of the colour, without falling into excessive detail or unnecessary backgrounds.
