A koala among flowers is reinterpreted with polygonal geometry on the outer thigh, at 20x16 cm worked over five hours. The figure breaks down into triangles and clean lines that fragment the volume without losing the animal gentle expression, while the flowers accompany the composition as secondary masses. Colour keeps the sweetness of the original motif but is applied in defined planes that converse with the geometric edges. Placement on the thigh allows a comfortable scale and a horizontal development that suits the shape of the leg. The work alternates precise contours with flat colour areas so the piece stays readable at different distances. The result seeks a balance between the tender and the structured, with a modern aesthetic that still respects the character.
